Shopify Developer Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Shopify Developer Intern to join our team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students and fresh graduates who want to gain hands-on experience in Shopify development, e-commerce solutions, and front-end customization. You will work on live projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and gain practical exposure to building and optimizing modern e-commerce stores.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify websites and storefronts.
• Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Support the development of Shopify stores for D2C and e-commerce brands.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Shopify apps and third-party integrations.
• Integrate APIs and assist with custom Shopify functionalities.
• Upload and manage products, collections, inventory, and website content.
• Optimize website speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness.
• Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, and compatible across all devices.
• Debug and resolve front-end and back-end issues.
• Test website functionality, identify bugs, and implement fixes.
• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to develop landing pages and new features.
• Follow Shopify development best practices and maintain clean, reusable code.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of the Shopify platform and theme customization.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
• Familiarity with Shopify Liquid is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub.
• Understanding of Shopify Apps and API integration is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
