Software Tester (Playwright)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Tester specializing in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts. You will build automation frameworks, automate various test scenarios, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Automate UI, functional, regression, and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to define test strategies.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
• Report, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• 4–9 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
