Role Overview
The CIT Platform Engineering team is responsible for designing, building, and operating enterprise software delivery platforms that enable Unisys engineering teams to develop, secure, test, and release software efficiently and consistently. As an Engineer - Platform Engineering, you will contribute to the design, implementation, automation, and operation of our DevSecOps ecosystem, including cloud and on-premises platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, support, and continuously improve enterprise engineering platforms and services.
- Enable self-service capabilities that simplify software delivery processes for engineering teams.
- Embed security controls into developer workflows and release pipelines.
- Assist with container platforms, Kubernetes, and platform modernization initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience working with software development, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
- Understanding of source control, repository management, CI/CD concepts, and modern software delivery practices.
- Understanding of vulnerability management, software supply chain security, and SDLC practices.
- Hands-on experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript, or C#.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Bitbucket, Jira, or Jenkins.
- Hands-on experience with SAST, SCA, and DAST solutions.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native technologies.
