Job Description
Role Overview
The Junior Web Developer is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting the design, development, and maintenance of university web applications and websites. Tasks include implementing front-end features, assisting with back-end functionality, fixing bugs, and improving user experience in alignment with institutional requirements and brand guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Implement front-end features and assist with back-end functionality.
- Fix bugs and improve user experience following brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with senior developers, designers, and content teams.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for accessibility, performance, and security.
- Document technical solutions, test new features, and contribute to digital service improvements.
Requirements
- Relevant academic background in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with at least one modern framework.
- Proficiency with version control tools such as Git.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, multicultural team environment.
