CAD Developer & Mechanical Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Developer and Mechanical Intern to support the design, development, and prototyping of innovative products. This dual-focus role involves creating accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings, design models, and assisting in the assembly and testing of mechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on project requirements.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and design documentation.
• Assist in the design, development, and assembly of mechanical components and products.
• Support prototyping, testing, and evaluation of product designs.
• Collaborate with CAD, Electronics, and Product Development teams.
• Review and update drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.
• Assist in material selection and design improvements for manufacturability.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, or Creo.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, and technical standards.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, and engineering materials.
• Familiarity with product prototyping, testing, and assembly.
• Ability to interpret design specifications and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• A portfolio or sample CAD projects is preferred.
