Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer with strong expertise in data visualization, DAX, SQL, Python and data modelling. The ideal candidate should have excellent storytelling and visualization skills and the ability to transform complex data into interactive, visually appealing dashboards and actionable business insights.

A good understanding of the Mutual Fund or Financial Services domain will be important for effective business interactions and success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and understand business requirements and translate them into effective Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Design and develop interactive and visually appealing Power BI dashboards that simplify complex data and effectively tell a business story.
• Write and optimize complex DAX queries to create calculated columns, measures and custom tables for advanced analytics.
• Write complex SQL queries using MS SQL and Oracle databases.
• Develop Python scripts to extract and pull data from source systems for use in Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation and data shaping using Python, Power Query and complex SQL queries.
• Design effective data models using Star Schema and Snowflake Schema concepts.
