Electrical Engineering Intern / Trainee (Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech)

Role Overview

Universal Power Transmission is seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineering Intern / Trainee to gain practical industry exposure in electrical design and project execution. This role involves both office-based technical work and site visits to understand real electrical installations and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical drawings using AutoCAD
• Assist in preparing Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
• Assist in electrical load calculations
• Support preparation of BOQ (Bill of Quantities)
• Assist in material estimation and electrical documentation
• Coordinate with engineers and technicians for project execution
• Visit project sites to assist in electrical installation supervision
• Monitor site work to ensure electrical work follows drawings and safety standards
• Support preparation of technical reports and engineering documentation

Requirements

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• Final year students or fresh graduates may apply
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and power distribution
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
• Willingness to work both in office and on project sites
• Strong interest in electrical design and practical engineering work
