Shopify Web Developer

Role Overview

We run a D2C brand on Shopify and are looking for a hands-on Shopify Web Developer who can own theme development end-to-end. This includes customization, building custom sections, third-party app integrations, and ongoing site maintenance, while working directly with our operations and marketing teams.

Responsibilities

• Customize Dawn and other OS 2.0 themes, including product pages, homepages, collection pages, headers, and footers
• Build custom theme sections, snippets, and metafield/metaobject-driven dynamic content
• Integrate third-party apps and troubleshoot website issues
• Build and manage Shopify Flow automations
• Handle alternate templates for multi-brand setups within a single store
• Work across multiple Shopify stores simultaneously
• Improve site performance and implement new features as required
• Ensure strong UI/UX and responsive design across all pages

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on Shopify development experience
• Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with Shopify OS 2.0 — sections, blocks, schemas, metafields, and metaobjects
• Working knowledge of Shopify Flow
• Strong command of the Dawn theme
• Experience with theme customization and third-party app integrations
• Good understanding of UI/UX and responsive design

Nice to Have

• Experience with multiple themes beyond Dawn
• Familiarity with Shopify CLI
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python or JavaScript)
• Exposure to AI tools for development workflows
• Multi-store or multi-brand Shopify experience
