Azure Cloud Operations Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to administer, monitor, support, and govern Microsoft Azure environments while ensuring platform availability, operational stability, security, compliance, and cost efficiency. The role involves Azure operations, DevOps engineering, GitHub administration, disaster recovery support, incident management, platform governance, automation, and continuous service improvement. This position requires working from the customer office five days a week and participating in on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, access controls, policies, and platform governance.
• Monitor Azure platform health, availability, utilization, capacity, and performance.
• Own infrastructure incident triage, troubleshooting, escalation, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Design, configure, and manage Azure DevOps projects, pipelines, and release management.
• Build and maintain multi-stage YAML pipelines with automated build and deployment controls.
• Design and govern GitHub Enterprise repository strategies and GitHub Actions workflows.
• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and service restoration activities.
• Monitor Azure consumption, budgets, and identify cost optimization opportunities using FinOps principles.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Azure Operations, DevOps, GitHub, and Disaster Recovery.
• Intermediate knowledge of PowerShell and ARM Templates.
• Knowledge of ITIL and FinOps frameworks.
• Ability to participate in on-call support during non-working hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with Azure DevOps agents and GitHub security scanning.
