Cloud Engineer

Role Overview

As a Cloud Engineer you will play a key role in building, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and enterprise IT services that support global marketing platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize cloud environments, improve operational efficiency, and enhance platform reliability through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Git-based workflows.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes (preferably Amazon EKS).
• Manage cloud networking and DNS services, including Route 53, Cloud DNS, and DNSSEC.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, patch, and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• Support cloud modernization initiatives, including migrations from on-premises environments to AWS.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to resolve infrastructure and application issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, deployment, backup, disaster recovery, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (preferably Amazon EKS), and containerized deployments.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, and pipeline automation.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of networking, DNS, Linux/Windows administration, IT security best practices, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
