ML Engineer I :: AI Engineer

Role Overview

UST is seeking an AI Engineer with 4-10+ years of experience in AI/ML Engineering, Generative AI, or Data Science. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI solutions to drive digital transformation for global clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI/ML solutions.
• Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, AI Agents, and LLM-based enterprise applications.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines for model training and inference.
• Develop scalable REST APIs and AI-powered services.
• Implement MLOps practices including model deployment, monitoring, testing, and versioning.
• Evaluate, fine-tune, and monitor AI models for accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate with business, data, and engineering teams to translate requirements into AI solutions.

Requirements

• 4-10+ years of experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, or Data Science.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Vector Databases, Semantic Search, and Knowledge Retrieval Architectures.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong knowledge of Git and software development best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or Semantic Kernel.
• Familiarity with Snowflake or Databricks.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD Pipelines.
• Experience with Streamlit, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Understanding of Responsible AI, AI Governance, and security standards.
