DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, security, monitoring, and deployment management. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AWS and DigitalOcean, experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, and a good understanding of containerization and Kubernetes. This role also involves direct client communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS and DigitalOcean.
• Manage and automate infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation templates.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
• Manage production and development environments and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployment and orchestration.
• Implement cloud and application security best practices, including access control, IAM, network security, secrets management, and server hardening.
• Set up and maintain logging, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting systems.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively identify and resolve production issues.
• Maintain proper technical documentation for infrastructure, deployments, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and project management teams to improve deployment and release processes.
• Participate in production support, incident management, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Communicate directly with clients to understand technical requirements, provide updates, troubleshoot issues, and explain infrastructure-related decisions.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience.
• Excellent hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Strong experience with DigitalOcean infrastructure and services.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Good experience creating and managing AWS CloudFormation templates.
• Strong practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of cloud and infrastructure security.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of Linux servers, networking, DNS, SSL/TLS, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Good technical documentation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working directly with clients and participating in client meetings.
