Backend Support Engineer (DevOps)

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Backend Support Engineer Intern with a basic understanding of DevOps practices and backend systems. This internship is an excellent opportunity for candidates who want to gain hands-on experience in managing backend infrastructure, supporting deployments, monitoring applications, and working with modern DevOps tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining backend applications and services.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of development and production environments.
• Troubleshoot backend application and server-related issues.
• Monitor application performance, logs, and system health.
• Assist with CI/CD pipeline management and deployment automation.
• Work with cloud platforms, Linux servers, and containerized applications.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve production and deployment issues.
• Document processes, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations.
• Provide backend operational and technical support.

Requirements

• Final-year students or recent graduates in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of DevOps concepts.
• Understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Basic knowledge of Docker and containerization.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Basic understanding of backend technologies, APIs, and databases.
