Backend Developer

Role Overview

At V7 AI Solutions LLP, we are looking for a Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js and TypeScript to help build scalable, high-performance backend systems. You will work on modular APIs, database systems, and background processing to power our AI and software platforms in a dynamic, fast-growing environment in Bengaluru.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement REST APIs with proper DTOs, validation, and Swagger/OpenAPI documentation
• Build modular backend architecture and scalable CRUD APIs
• Design and maintain database schemas using PostgreSQL and manage data access using TypeORM
• Implement authentication mechanisms (JWT / token-based)
• Handle error logging and implement reusable services/utilities
• Implement async/background job processing with queue-based architectures (Redis, BullMQ or similar)
• Work with infrastructure tools: Docker, Git, and Linux basics

Requirements

• 2+ years of backend development experience using Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience with NestJS or similar backend frameworks
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and TypeORM
• Experience with REST API development, validation, and documentation
• Knowledge of modular backend design, reusable services, and error handling
• Experience with async processing and job queues (Redis, BullMQ, or similar)
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and Linux environment basics
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and system design skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with WebSockets
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with large backend codebases and complex systems
