Software Engineer - Integrations

Role Overview

We are hiring Software Engineers with 2 or more years of experience to work on integration projects involving VARStreet and third-party business systems. The role primarily involves developing, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting integrations with ERP, accounting, CRM, PSA, procurement, eCommerce, and other enterprise applications using REST APIs, JSON, XML, SQL, and related technologies. This is a work-from-office role based in Pune with office timings of 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrations between VARStreet and external applications using REST APIs, JSON, XML, and SOAP services.
• Implement integration workflows by understanding third-party API documentation.
• Develop inbound and outbound data synchronization processes and map data between systems.
• Handle API authentication, validations, errors, retries, and logging.
• Test APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Write SQL queries to validate data and troubleshoot issues in Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Investigate integration failures using logs, API responses, and database records.
• Use Git for source-code management.
• Coordinate with QA, product, support, customers, and third-party vendors.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of software-development experience.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience using Postman or a similar API-testing tool.
• Basic knowledge of Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work from the office in Pune during 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST.
• Flexibility to attend occasional customer calls during US business hours.
