UI/UX Intern

Role Overview

The UI/UX Intern will work full time in a remote capacity, contributing to the design and refinement of user interfaces for Vayura’s airline operations platforms. The role offers exposure to aviation domain workflows and an opportunity to learn how design decisions impact mission-critical operational systems.

Responsibilities

• Creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that clearly communicate design ideas and workflows.
• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate complex operational requirements into intuitive, accessible user experiences.
• Conducting and synthesizing user feedback and iterating on visual designs.
• Supporting front-end handoff with clear specifications and assets.

Requirements

• Strong skills in visual design and creating high-quality mockups for web or enterprise applications.
• Ability to design user flows and interfaces with a focus on User Experience Design (UED) and usability.
• Experience with building interactive prototypes using common prototyping tools.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently in a remote setting, and openness to feedback.
