Mobile Application Developer Intern

Role Overview

The Mobile Application Developer Intern will support the design, development, and testing of mobile applications that integrate with VectoRise Global’s health intelligence platforms. This is an internship role, based-on-site in Bengaluru, offering hands-on exposure to healthcare-focused mobile solutions and modern development practices.

Responsibilities

• Implementing user interfaces and developing and debugging mobile features
• Integrating APIs and data services
• Ensuring app performance and reliability on different devices
• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into functional mobile experiences
• Participating in code reviews, documentation, and iterative improvements

Requirements

• Foundational skills in mobile app development, such as experience with Android (Kotlin/Java) and/or iOS (Swift)
• Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter
• Knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented programming and version control (e.g., Git)
• Basic understanding of APIs, JSON, and RESTful services
• Skills in UI/UX implementation, including responsive layouts and mobile design guidelines
• Ability to perform debugging and testing using emulators/devices and writing basic unit tests
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
