QA Tester Manual & Automation

Role Overview

We have an urgent requirement for the position of QA Tester – Manual & Automation at Velodynamics Pvt. Ltd.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback
• Design, develop, and execute test cases (manual and automated)
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured
• Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and improve product quality
• Prepare test plans, test strategies, and test summary reports
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning/estimation
• Ensure test coverage across functional and non-functional requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automation)
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or similar)
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)
• Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps)
• Good understanding of test case design techniques
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins) is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
