QA Engineer (Hybrid QA + Development)

Role Overview

We are seeking a QA Engineer (Hybrid QA + Development) with 4–7 years of experience for a full-time, dedicated engagement. This role involves designing and executing test plans for CRM web applications, buyer/CP portals, and React Native mobile apps, bridging the gap between quality assurance and development.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for CRM web apps, buyer/CP portals, and React Native mobile apps.
• Build and maintain automated API and UI regression suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform API testing against NestJS/Swagger endpoints.
• Validate PostgreSQL data integrity, including CRM and AI backend schema coupling.
• Triage and log defects with clear reproduction steps and verify fixes.
• Write development-level code in Node.js, TypeScript, or Python for test harnesses, data seeding, and mock services.
• Support UAT cycles and release validation.
• Identify and help resolve quality-related items from the known-limitations register.

Requirements

• 4+ years of QA experience, including 1–2 years in a hybrid QA/development role.
• API testing using Postman/Swagger and experience testing NestJS/Node.js backends.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with Jest, Supertest, or Vitest.
• Automation experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Basic mobile testing knowledge for Android/iOS.
• SQL proficiency for PostgreSQL data validation.
• CI/CD experience and ability to analyze pipeline logs.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Nice to Have

• Python/pytest exposure.
• Testing experience with payment flows, KYC/document workflows, or CTI integrations.
• Performance/load testing using k6/JMeter.
• Security-testing fundamentals.
