DevOps Engineer Intern

Role Overview

We’re looking for a passionate and self-motivated DevOps Intern to assist our engineering team in automating infrastructure and improving deployment pipelines. This is an in-person role located in Jagatpur, Cuttack, Odisha, offering real-world exposure to DevOps practices in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Help manage infrastructure with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform (under guidance).
• Support in automating routine development, build, and deployment tasks.
• Work with developers to ensure smooth deployments and rollback strategies.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure with basic observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
• Learn and apply DevOps best practices including version control, containerization, and scripting.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Basic understanding of Linux, Shell Scripting, and version control (Git).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes is a bonus.
• Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced DevOps/CloudOps environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with a personal or academic project using DevOps tools.
• Participation in open-source or hackathon projects.
