GW Portal/JDP Developer_100% Remote

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced GW Portal/JDP Developer for a 12-month contracting role, 100% Remote. The ideal candidate will have 5-10+ years of experience and strong proficiency in both backend and frontend technologies, specifically within the Guidewire ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Gosu / Java and solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
• Good understanding of at least one Guidewire Core Center, such as PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire Edge APIs or Cloud APIs on at least one Guidewire Core Center.
• Experience working with REST APIs using Swagger.
• Ability to write custom APIs and expose them to UI layers.
• Familiarity with tools such as Git, CI/CD, Postman, and SOAP UI.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Thorough understanding of ReactJS and its core principles.
• Knowledge of View Model pattern, Context API, or state management libraries like Redux.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms like OAuth.
• Must have knowledge of Guidewire Jutro Framework and Jutro Design System.
• Nice to have knowledge and experience with Guidewire Jutro Framework (JDP) or ReactJS.
• Nice to have experience working on Guidewire Cloud Portal projects.

Requirements

• 5 - 10+ Years of relevant experience.
• Mandatory Skill: JDP Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Gosu / Java.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Thorough understanding of ReactJS.
• Knowledge of Guidewire Jutro Framework.
• Nice to have knowledge of Guidewire Edge APIs / Cloud APIs.
