Role Overview
This internship offers hands-on exposure to the intersection of legal operations, data governance, and AI enablement within a complex, cross-border professional services function. You will work alongside experienced legal, risk, and compliance professionals to support the operational and governance work required to prepare a legal function for AI adoption.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and organizing program data to improve consistency, accessibility, and structure.
- Consolidating information into single, reliable sources.
- Drafting process documentation, playbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Conducting research on regulatory developments, peer benchmarking, and tool landscape analysis.
- Building operational tooling such as trackers, dashboards, and structured reference materials.
- Supporting the setup and documentation of AI-enabled tools and workflows under governance standards.
- Quality-reviewing AI-generated outputs and helping calibrate tool usage.
Requirements
- Graduate or final-year student with an interest in law, legal operations, compliance, or risk management.
- Strong research and written communication skills.
- Ability to clean, structure, and organize information using Excel, SharePoint, and MS Lists.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Curiosity regarding AI application in legal and compliance work.
Nice to Have
- Prior exposure to an in-house legal environment, law firm, or legal technology setting.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot.
- Interest in governance, data management, or process improvement.
- Experience with project tracking tools, dashboards, or workflow automation.
