Backend Developer Intern

Role Overview

VidBow is a growing platform focused on educational support and web solutions. We are seeking a detail-oriented Backend Developer Intern (with basic frontend knowledge) to architect and manage the backend services for our internal platforms. This is a 100% unpaid, educational, skill-building internship lasting 80 days, offered remotely with a flexible schedule of 2-3 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and optimize secure RESTful APIs for internal web applications.
• Design database schemas and manage data flow efficiently using PostgreSQL or Supabase.
• Implement authentication and authorization using JWT or Supabase Auth.
• Handle API integrations, server logic, and automated PDF/QR-code generation.
• Collaborate on frontend integrations and assist with basic UI connections.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, Database Design, and Authentication.
• Ability to work remotely for 2-3 hours daily.
