Role Overview

Virtual Element Studios is a B2B engineering visualization studio expanding into website design & development services. We are seeking a WordPress Developer to convert Figma designs into pixel-accurate, fast, and easily editable corporate websites, specifically for industrial and manufacturing clients with complex site architectures.

Responsibilities

• Convert Figma/design mockups into fully responsive WordPress websites matching design specs precisely.
• Build structured, scalable content using Custom Post Types and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
• Configure and customize Elementor for layouts, mega-menus, animations, and banners.
• Set up enquiry/contact forms with file upload capability.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and site performance.
• Implement on-page SEO fundamentals including schema markup and meta structure.
• Handle basic PHP customizations for functions.php and custom widgets.
• Manage hosting, staging environments, backups, and WordPress security hardening.
• Collaborate with design and business development teams to deliver client projects.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of hands-on WordPress development experience.
• Strong command of Elementor and ACF / Custom Post Types.
• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience building multi-page, content-heavy corporate/B2B websites.
• Ability to translate Figma designs accurately across responsive breakpoints.
• Familiarity with form plugins, SEO plugins, and performance optimization.
• Understanding of WordPress security best practices.

Nice to Have

• Portfolio including multi-industry/multi-product corporate websites.
• Experience with WooCommerce.
• Basic understanding of modern frontend concepts like React or Vue.
• Prior agency or studio experience.
