Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced engineer with 7+ years of experience to build scalable, high-performance services focusing on backend development using Java and Springboot, while also contributing to frontend capabilities using React and TypeScript.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance services using Java, TypeScript, JavaScript (Node.js), and Springboot.
- Implement RESTful APIs and enterprise applications utilizing Springboot EE.
- Design and implement systems based on Microservices architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Work with event-driven systems using messaging platforms like RabbitMQ and/or Apache Kafka.
- Manage and interact with various databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.
- Leverage AWS services including EC2, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, RDS, and DynamoDB.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
- Containerize applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Advocate for and implement automated testing and quality-driven delivery practices.
- Contribute to frontend engineering using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- Potentially contribute to building AI-driven support tools, including integration with LLMs/ChatGPT and understanding concepts like the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience.
- Expert proficiency in Java, TypeScript, and JavaScript (Node.js).
- Strong experience with Springboot for building enterprise applications and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Microservices architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka.
- Experience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB).
- Hands-on experience with core AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, CDK).
- Proficiency with containerization technologies: Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Strong capability or keenness to grow in frontend engineering using React and Next.js.
