QA Playwright

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with 6+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks, primarily utilizing Playwright.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript or Java.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for web/UI applications.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for issue resolution.
• Hands-on experience with API testing using tools such as Postman/Rest Assured.
• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber preferred).
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Strong expertise in test case design, defect tracking, and root cause analysis.
• Good understanding of SQL/Database validation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in Playwright automation framework.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Java.
• Strong experience in UI/Web Automation Testing.
• Experience in framework design and development from scratch.
• Strong understanding of test automation design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
