Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Software Tester / QA Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing, Web & Mobile Application Testing, API Testing, Automation Testing, and Performance Testing. The ideal candidate should be capable of identifying bugs as well as analyzing performance bottlenecks, slow APIs, database queries, and application-level issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, test plans, and regression test suites.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, compatibility, and exploratory testing.
- Perform web automation testing using Selenium.
- Perform Android/iOS application testing using Appium.
- Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Perform load, stress, and API performance testing using JMeter.
- Analyze JMeter reports to identify slow APIs and throughput limitations.
- Reproduce, document, and track bugs with clear steps, screenshots, and logs.
- Work closely with developers to communicate technical issues and required optimizations.
- Maintain QA documentation, test reports, and performance testing reports.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of professional experience in Software Testing / QA.
- Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Experience testing both Web and Mobile Applications.
- Working knowledge of Selenium and Appium.
- Hands-on experience with JMeter for performance and load testing.
- Good understanding of API testing using Postman.
- Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP status codes.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database queries.
- Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Trello.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
