Role Overview

Wakeup is looking for a Data Visualization Intern who is interested in transforming complex datasets into clear, interactive, and meaningful visual reports. This role is particularly suited to candidates who want to develop practical experience in dashboard development, data visualization, reporting, and analytical storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize datasets for visualization
• Use SQL to extract and structure data from relevant sources
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Use Excel for data preparation, analysis, and supporting reports
• Apply Python for basic data processing and analysis
• Select appropriate charts and visualizations to communicate insights effectively
• Analyze trends and relationships within datasets
• Support the creation of business performance dashboards
• Improve the clarity and usability of analytical reports
• Maintain data accuracy and consistency across visualization projects

Requirements

• Has an interest in Data Visualization and Analytics
• Understands the fundamentals of Power BI and SQL
• Has working knowledge of Excel
• Has basic Python knowledge for data-related tasks
• Possesses strong analytical and visual communication skills
• Is detail-oriented and eager to learn
