Software Engineer III

Role Overview

As a Software Engineer III, you will participate in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized projects, partnering with product management, project management, business, and UX teams to develop high-level designs. You will manage complex projects from requirement translation to technical solution implementation, ensuring sustainable, scalable, and high-availability software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and research alternative architectures based on ROI.
• Write, develop, and unit test code while ensuring adherence to coding standards and security policies.
• Troubleshoot production issues using root cause analysis and drive action plans for resolution.
• Provide technical guidance to small groups of engineers, including offshore associates.
• Build automation scripts for CI/CD pipelines and implement telemetry features.
• Manage the defect life-cycle, including regression testing and defect reporting.
• Create requirement traceability matrices and contribute to user story development in Agile environments.

Requirements

• Experience in requirement and scoping analysis, including risk and cost analysis.
• Proficiency in software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with root cause analysis.
• Ability to conduct unit testing and automated testing.
• Experience with defect management and regression testing.
