Automation Engineer

Role Overview

As an Automation Engineer within Enterprise Data and AI Solutions, you will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling automation solutions that improve efficiency, reduce operational effort, and enhance user experience across Warner Bros. Discovery. You will automate repetitive processes and deliver next-generation AI-enabled automation solutions, including intelligent workflows, agentic automation patterns, and integrations with enterprise AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to assess automation opportunities and design scalable technical solutions.
• Design automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, scalability, and speed of execution.
• Monitor automated processes (RPA bots and flows) to ensure stable execution and perform root cause analysis on failures.
• Support and maintain existing solutions built using UiPath, Power Automate, and Python.
• Develop, test, and deploy automation scripts, workflows, APIs, and tools.
• Build automation components using Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, and cloud services.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate automation with LLMs and AI models.
• Log and track incidents using tools like ServiceNow or Jira.

Requirements

• Strong engineering mindset with a practical understanding of AI-enabled solution delivery.
• Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks and workflows.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical specifications.
• Experience with production support, monitoring, and incident management.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, security, and data privacy standards.
