React Native Internship

Role Overview

WashMarket is a technology-driven AutoTech startup transforming how vehicle owners access trusted auto care services in India. This is a remote internship role for a React Native Intern. The intern will support the development and maintenance of mobile applications, implementing UI components, integrating APIs, and fixing bugs under guidance from senior developers in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of mobile applications using React Native.
• Implement UI components and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, reusable code and perform feature testing.
• Review code with the team and contribute to performance and usability improvements.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to ensure consistent user experience.
• Assist with documentation of features and technical processes.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with React or React Native.
• Basic understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and component-based architecture.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON data handling.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Ability to debug and optimize performance on Android and/or iOS devices.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a remote, distributed team.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with React Navigation.
• Experience with Redux or other state management libraries.
• Knowledge of deployment to app stores.
