Role Overview

Gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity by working on real-world security projects. Learn to identify vulnerabilities, monitor security threats, perform security assessments, and help protect web applications, networks, and digital assets using industry-standard tools and best practices. This role is specifically for college students.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events and alerts.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing.
• Identify and report security risks in web applications and systems.
• Assist in implementing security controls and best practices.
• Support incident response and security investigations.
• Document security findings and prepare assessment reports.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application security.
• Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.

Requirements

• Students or recent graduates pursuing Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and network security.
• Knowledge of operating systems like Windows and Linux.
• Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and firewalls.
• Basic knowledge of web application security and common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
