Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps & Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, CI/CD pipelines, cloud security, and DevOps best practices. This role involves collaborating with development, security, and operations teams to automate deployments, optimize infrastructure, and ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Configure, manage, and optimize Azure infrastructure and cloud workloads.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, SonarQube, CodeQL, and other DevOps tools.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications using tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and New Relic.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis to ensure high system availability.
- Implement cloud security best practices using Azure Security Center, Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Azure Key Vault, and other Azure security services.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, security scans, and implement remediation measures.
- Ensure secure coding practices and collaborate with development teams to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for Azure environments.
- Optimize Azure resource utilization and support cloud cost management initiatives.
- Create technical documentation, operational procedures, and deployment standards.
- Mentor team members and provide technical guidance on Azure technologies and DevOps best practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and DevOps methodologies.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Azure Kubernetes Service - AKS).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools including: Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, SonarQube, CodeQL.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Splunk, Dynatrace, New Relic.
- Proficiency in Azure security services including: Microsoft Defender for Cloud (Azure Security Center), Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), Azure Key Vault.
- Experience performing vulnerability assessments and security remediation.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles.
- Experience implementing regulatory and compliance controls within Azure environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, automation, and scripting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
