Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong AWS expertise to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, automation, and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application build, testing, and deployment.
- Manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, and Route 53.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Manage and optimize Docker containers and Kubernetes environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational tasks.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance optimization.
- Ensure infrastructure security, availability, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies.
- Collaborate with developers to improve application deployment and release processes.
- Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform / CloudFormation.
- Good knowledge of Git and version control.
- Experience with scripting using Python, Bash, or Shell.
- Knowledge of AWS IAM, VPC, security groups, networking, and load balancing.
- Experience with CloudWatch and centralized logging/monitoring.
- Understanding of DevOps, Agile, deployment, and release management practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
