Software Test Engineer

Role Overview

Webstors Labs is a Bangalore-based technology company focused on building specialized software for the sports and higher education sectors. As a Software Testing Intern, you will work on high-impact, real products, designing and executing test cases that validate complete end-to-end workflows across web and mobile interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Perform manual testing across web and mobile interfaces, including role-based access verification.
• Identify and document defects with clear reproduction steps, expected behavior, and current behavior.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues and report product capability gaps.
• Contribute to regression testing, release sign-off, and the continuous improvement of test coverage.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid grasp of core software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Ability to reason about complex data flows and application logic.
• Disciplined approach to documenting results and defects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and empathy for non-technical users.
