Undergraduate Intern: Intake Coordinator

Role Overview

Wellness Road Psychology is seeking a part-time clinical support professional for a one-year commitment starting in August. This role requires 8-10 hours per week, with availability in the afternoons, evenings, or weekends. The position involves supporting patient intake and clinical coordination within a premier private practice setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct screening phone calls with prospective patients
• Document patient demographics, medical and mental health history, and reasons for seeking treatment
• Collaborate with clinicians and office administrators to match patients with appropriate providers
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict patient discretion at all times

Requirements

• Junior or Senior enrolled at a 4-year university
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or Health Sciences
• Must have US work authorization
• Must have access to a laptop and a private, uninterrupted workspace
