Software Engineer

Role Overview

Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer to participate in low to moderately complex initiatives, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and debugging projects while identifying opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the technology domain.

Responsibilities

• Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects including installation, upgrades, and deployment.
• Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for technology domain projects.
• Review and analyze technical assignments and research alternative technology domains.
• Present recommendations for resolving issues and escalate as needed to meet service level agreements.
• Exercise independent judgment regarding security and compliance requirements.
• Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python or Java.
• Knowledge of APIs and Microservices.
• Familiarity with LLM frameworks such as LangChain or Semantic Kernel.
• Skills in Prompt engineering and model evaluation.
• Experience with Cloud platforms, specifically Azure.
• Understanding of Distributed systems and scalable architectures.
