Software engineer

Role Overview

Wells Fargo is seeking a Software engineer to participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts. This role focuses on network automation development, infrastructure automation, and improving service quality and availability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows using Python and Ansible.
• Automate day-to-day network operational tasks, configuration management, reporting, and compliance validation.
• Develop scripts and tools to support provisioning, inventory management, and health-check activities.
• Integrate network and voice platforms using REST APIs and automation frameworks.
• Support automation initiatives across network switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and Cisco Voice products.
• Partner with Network, Voice, Security, and Operations teams in an Agile environment.
• Identify repetitive manual tasks and develop automation solutions to improve productivity.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, or education.
• Experience in Network Automation, Infrastructure Automation, DevOps, or Software Development supporting infrastructure teams.
• Experience working in enterprise network environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline is desired.
