QA Intern

Role Overview

Assist in creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts. Perform manual testing for web, mobile, or API applications. Log, track, and verify defects using our bug-tracking tools. Participate in regression, functional, usability, and exploratory testing. Work collaboratively with developers to understand new features and verify fixes. Support automation activities by learning and writing basic automated test scripts. Document test results and provide feedback on product usability and quality. Assist in maintaining test documentation and contributing to QA process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Perform manual testing for web, mobile, or API applications.
• Log, track, and verify defects using our bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps).
• Participate in regression, functional, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Work collaboratively with developers to understand new features and verify fixes.
• Support automation activities by learning and writing basic automated test scripts.
• Document test results and provide feedback on product usability and quality.
• Assist in maintaining test documentation and contributing to QA process improvements.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts.
• Basic understanding of Testing strategies and Testing Types.
• Familiarity with QA processes and SDLC.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for product quality and learning new tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• BE/B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc (Computer Science/IT), MCA, MSc, M.Tech, or any equivalent degree.
