Role Overview
The role requires an engineering background to participate in the design, development, testing and enhancement of Computer Vision application and robotic solutions. This position involves working with computer vision algorithms, Python programming, PLC programming, IoT connectivity, and the integration of vision systems with robotics.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and developing computer vision algorithms for various applications such as object detection, recognition, and tracking.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning.
- Implement and test computer vision algorithms on various platforms including embedded systems, PCs and cloud.
- Integrate computer vision algorithms with PLC systems for industrial automation applications.
- Learn and Program Robots for Device Assembly and other use cases.
- Develop and implement IoT solutions for remote monitoring and control of computer vision systems.
- Integrate computer vision systems with robotics platforms and ROS software.
- Develop and maintain documentation for computer vision algorithms, integration with PLC and IoT systems, and robotics integration.
- Debug and troubleshoot computer vision and PLC systems.
- Work closely with Leads and Architects on various prototypes or proof of concept.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics required.
- Minimum 1-3 Years of relevant experience required.
- Basic understanding of computer vision algorithms, image processing, and deep learning.
- Experience in programming languages such as Python and C++.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and integration with industrial systems.
- Ability to work in a global and virtual environment.
