Role Overview
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS and Kubernetes, particularly Amazon EKS. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing cloud infrastructure, containerized applications, and deployment environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Manage and support Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) environments.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes.
- Work with AWS services such as S3 and other relevant AWS infrastructure components.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance and troubleshoot deployment/environment issues.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment processes and reliability.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
- Support production and non-production environments and resolve operational issues.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS.
- Good understanding and practical experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with containerization and deployment of applications in Kubernetes environments.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and deployment practices.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with MongoDB or Amazon DocumentDB.
- Exposure to Kibana and Logstash.
- Hands-on experience setting up local Kubernetes clusters and working with Helm Charts or Kustomize.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automation.
