AUTOMATION ENGINEER L3(CONTRACT)

Role Overview

Wipro Limited is seeking an Automation Engineer L3 to join our Infrastructure Automation team. This role involves understanding software requirements, analyzing technology architecture, and contributing to the automation roadmap. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated testing processes to ensure high-quality software delivery within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current technology architecture, system interdependencies, and application stacks.
• Formulate project plans and contribute to the automation roadmap design and testing process improvements.
• Improve and maintain automation frameworks and build reusable libraries across technology stacks.
• Design and execute software development, test plans, and test cases/scenarios for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Implement, track, and report key metrics to ensure full coverage through automation.
• Collaborate with Agile delivery teams to develop robust, scalable test automation for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Work with Development teams to improve continuous deployment practices.
• Perform backend and database programming for key projects.

Requirements

• 3 - 7 years of experience in automation engineering.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts.
• Willingness to work from the office (5 days WFO) in Noida/Gurugram.
• Strong understanding of software validation, design patterns, and technical specification development.
