Role Overview
Wipro Limited is seeking an experienced Java SpringBoot Developer to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This role involves designing, developing, and refactoring microservices-based backend systems, focusing on cloud-native solutions and digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop microservices-based backend systems, following clean architecture and best practices.
- Refactor existing AWS VM-based applications into cloud-native, containerized services.
- Develop strong hands-on experience in Java including Spring Boot, REST APIs, and backend service development.
- Implement Spring Boot microservices concepts: service discovery, inter-service communication, fault tolerance, and resiliency.
- Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Work with PostgreSQL and managed databases during cloud migrations.
- Collaborate with architects and DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and mapping AWS Azure services.
- Implement asynchronous and event-driven processing using RabbitMQ or similar messaging systems.
Requirements
- 3-5 Years of professional experience.
- Expert proficiency in Core Java.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Expert proficiency in Kubernetes.
- Good knowledge of AKS fundamentals: pods, services, Gateway, autoscaling.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Azure services.
- Proficiency with GitHub for source control.
