Software Engineer

Role Overview

Xylem is seeking a C# .net full stack developer to participate in the development process from definition to deployment. You will develop cutting-edge technologies to improve Xylem's software offering, creating and maintaining UI and back-end oriented services and micro-services. We are looking for an engineer who produces efficient, standard, and well-documented code with a startup-like work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software components
• Create and maintain UI and back-end oriented services and micro-services
• Ensure the quality of releases, including participating in peer code reviews
• Integrate internal software with third-party applications
• Support existing software within the organization
• Engineer efficient, standard, and well-documented code

Requirements

• BS, BE/B.Tech, MS, or MCA in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or related fields
• 2+ years of experience in C# application development (WPF/UWP) and/or User Interface creation (HTML/CSS/JS/MS Blazor)
• Proven ability to develop applications in a large-scale, high-performance environment
• Experience using Entity Framework or similar ORM tools
• Experience using SQL Server or similar RDBMS
• Understanding of design patterns, dependency injection, and SOLID principles
• Experience with unit testing
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GIT, Jira, Bitbucket, or Jenkins
• Excellent communication skills and strong organizational abilities
