QA / Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a QA / Business Analyst with 2–3 years of experience who can work across both Business Analysis and Quality Assurance activities. The person should be able to understand and gather requirements, identify gaps and edge cases, prepare clear documentation, and perform testing to validate how features work from both a business and product perspective.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements and business objectives through stakeholder discussions.
• Identify missing information, assumptions, dependencies, and edge cases.
• Prepare clear functional requirements, business rules, and user flows.
• Define acceptance criteria and expected behavior.
• Prepare test scenarios and detailed test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Perform basic API testing and validation.
• Identify, reproduce, and document defects.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, Design, and QA teams.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in QA, Business Analysis, or a combined role.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs (GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE).
• Understanding of JSON, request/response structures, and status codes.
• Experience using Postman or similar tools for API testing.
• Understanding of how frontend, backend, APIs, and databases interact.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Basic SQL/database knowledge.
• Experience testing third-party API integrations.
• Experience with web and/or mobile application testing.
• Familiarity with Jira, Redmine, or similar project management tools.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
