Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a full-time Backend Developer to join our team in Surat. You will be responsible for designing and developing backend APIs powering Hivestaff's HR, payroll, task, and collaboration modules, ensuring scalable and secure server-side services for our SaaS platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend APIs powering HR, payroll, task, and collaboration modules
- Build scalable, secure server-side services supporting real-time messaging and task boards
- Optimize database queries and performance across MongoDB and SQL systems
- Implement authentication and authorization using JWT
- Maintain system reliability and uptime for production SaaS environments
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Participate in architecture and design decisions
- Troubleshoot production issues
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of backend development experience
- Experience building scalable APIs for SaaS or multi-tenant platforms
- Experience designing database schemas
- Experience handling production systems
- Ability to commute to Surat, Gujarat
