Software Development Engineer (SDE-1) Intern

Role Overview

YummyPerks is a rewards platform that helps users earn real cash and gift cards by completing offers, surveys, and engaging with partner apps. We are building scalable products that serve users globally and are looking for passionate engineers to join us as a Software Development Engineer (SDE-1) Intern.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain frontend and backend features.
• Develop REST APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Work on authentication, payments, reward systems, and analytics.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Collaborate closely with the founder to ship new features quickly.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with React.js or Next.js.
• Experience with Node.js and Express.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or SQL databases.
• Understanding of REST APIs and Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven and eager to learn.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Redis.
• Experience with Docker.
• Familiarity with AWS, Vercel, or Cloudflare.
• Previous internship or personal projects.
