Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test automation frameworks for web applications, APIs, and performance testing. You will play a critical role in ensuring software quality through functional, regression, and integration testing within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test automation frameworks for web applications, APIs, and performance testing.
• Perform functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and release validation.
• Develop automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber.
• Conduct API testing and automation using Rest Assured and Postman.
• Implement performance and load testing using tools such as Gatling or Karate.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Track and manage defects using Jira.
• Utilize GenAI tools like ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, and Claude for test development.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to improve software quality, reliability, and security.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of BDD methodologies.
• Experience with API automation and performance testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in using GenAI tools for code generation and prompt engineering.
