SDET - API & Microservices

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled SDET - API & Microservices to design, maintain, and upgrade end-to-end automation tests. You will be responsible for building scalable frameworks and ensuring high-quality software delivery through robust automation and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, upgrade, and design end-to-end automation tests using Playwright.
• Build and maintain scalable, reusable automation frameworks.
• Automate UI, API, and cross-browser test scenarios.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams for requirement clarity.
• Identify, log, and track defects with clear root cause analysis.
• Ensure test coverage, reliability, and faster feedback cycles.
• Contribute to test strategy, planning, and release readiness.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Playwright automation.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, Bruno, or REST APIs.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ADO).
• Good understanding of test design techniques and QA methodologies.
• Experience with version control using Git.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
