Laravel Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Laravel Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in PHP and Laravel and be capable of developing scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. You will work closely with product, UI/UX, QA, and other engineering teams to build and improve solutions that support our business and customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Build and optimize backend functionality, database structures, and application workflows.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, product owners, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues efficiently.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Design and work with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards and best practices.
• Use Git and version control practices for development and deployment workflows.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, and development processes.
• Monitor existing applications and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Laravel, PHP, web technologies, and software development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in PHP and Laravel development.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Laravel framework.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), MVC architecture, and REST APIs.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development practices.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
• Proficiency with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of API development and third-party API integrations.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of application security and performance optimization.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
